Service Projects All MOMS Club chapters are required to perform one service project that benefits children in their community. Our members have consistently gone above and beyond this requirement by performing 8-10 service projects a year! Following are some of the projects that have helped us receive "Outstanding Service Program" recognition from MOMS Club International for the past three years. Angel Tree - Worked with Good Samaritan to "adopt" children in the area and provide clothes, toys and toiletry items for them to open at Christmas. Auction - In January members donate gently-used items to auction off such as movies, toys, picture frames, dress-up clothes, kitchen gadgets, etc. and all money raised is donated to charity. Baby Shower - Held mock baby showers for Birthline of Indianapolis where members brought used and new furniture, strollers, car seats, clothing, layette items, etc. for Birthline to distribute to needy families. Care Packages - Members donated items for care packages that were sent overseas to active military personnel. Cash Donations - Members have donated money for the MOMS Club International's Mother-to-Mother fund, Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund and Tsunami Fund. Cookbook Sales - Over the past three years our members have produced and sold two cookbooks and donated the proceeds to Chaucie's Place and Good Samaritan. Coupon Clipping - Collected coupons that were sent overseas to a Marine Base in Sasebo, Japan. Feed the Volunteers - Provided lunch to volunteers working on Habitat for Humanity building sites. Food Drive - Members donate non-perishable food items at every business meeting that we deliver to Third Phase Women's Shelter in Noblesville. - Freezer Meal Party - Members make freezer meals for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis.
- Pop Tabs - Pop tabs are collected at every business meeting for the Ronald McDonald House.
- Stuffed Animal Collection - Once a year we collect stuffed animals to be used by local law enforcement officers for their Bears on Patrol program.
- Toiletry Bags - Each year we collect travel-sized toiletry items to make overnight kits which are used by families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
- Walk-for-Wishes - Members participate and raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Annual Walk-for-Wishes which benefits children in our community.
- Wounded Soldiers Cards - Moms and their children make home-made "Get Well" cards that are sent to wounded soldiers.
